Hey, everyone. If it's been a while since you've updated your PC, you're going to be blown away by how much has changed. After you decide which design and form factor you're interested in, here are the main things to consider when shopping for your next computer at Costco. All right. Number one, the processor. It's the brain of your computer and it determines how quickly and smoothly your PC can run programs. Look for the newest generation of processors with an Intel Core A5 chip or even better, an Intel Core I7 processor for even better performance. Next up, memory. It stores temporary data that your computer needs to perform tasks in the short term. The more memory your PC has, the more tasks it can handle simultaneously. 8 gigabytes of memory will handle most users' daily demands. But consider buying a system with 16 gigs and up, for even more intensive applications, such as gaming and video editing. Storage is next. That's where your PC saves data for the long term. Solid state drives or SSDs, give the fastest speeds to access all your files. But SSDs costs more and may hold smaller amounts of data. Traditional hard drives are less expensive and offer larger storage capacities but they do run at a slower speed and they take up more space in a computer. Next up, your graphics processing unit, or GPU for short. It creates everything you see on your screen and most laptops come with a built in integrated GPU. However, for the best graphics performance and smoothest visuals, look for computers with dedicated GPUs, with memory specifically dedicated to processing graphics. This is perfect for things like gaming and media editing. Lastly, you want to choose a PC based on what experiences are important to you. There's touch, support for stylus pens and digital inking, voice control with Cortana, your virtual assistant. And Windows Hello, which lets you securely log into your PC with your face or fingerprint. And of course, you want to be sure that whether your PC includes office apps like Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which can be purchased separately. Now, Costco offers a wide assortment of modern PCs. Plus only Costco gives you free concierge tech support and a second year extended warranty. So be sure to buy your PC at Costco and get the best value around. I'm Marc Saltzman. Thanks for watching.
